HAPPY NEW YEAR

It's my anniversary! Yep! Me and the man who became the hero of my love story took the plunge January 1st, 1983 which makes us married 42 years. We met at the apartment complex we both lived at. He says he told his roommate he met the girl he was going to marry after he met me. Cue the pitter patter of my heat. We'd only known each other four months when we tied the knot. What can I say, if you know, you know. We chose new years day because the minister was going hunting on the original day we'd chosen. But it's the perfect day to get married because EVERYONE celebrates!

On this day in 1983 we woke up to a blanket of snow. In fact, I believe it was one of the biggest snows the little town of Jal, New Mexico had ever seen. One of the groomsmen got stranded because of the snow, not to mention the groom who nearly didn't make it, our cake cratered (looked like the leaning tower of Pissa), and we even had a wedding crasher that literally walked the aisle during the wedding,  but it was perfect and it obviously stuck because here we are 42 years later still hanging out with each other.  

UPDATES

HOLY COW! Where do I start? This month will be CRAZY! Moving forward into the new year will reflect some big changes.

I have brought on my friend Rhon House to be my PA to help me navigate the new direction I'm going as an indie author and help promote my new book. She is updating my social media sites and I am so excited! Look at this for my Paperback Escapes group. So Cute! I'm also getting a new author page on Facebook. This is for promoting my books. I will be shifting some things around with this addition. My profile page will have more personal posts while my group will have more interaction with readers as well as games and announcements. 

LOST TREASURE has a release date! JANUARY 25th is the day, which happens to be the day 24 to Life released and my it's son's birthday! I LOVE IT!!!! I'm starting my indie author career the same way I started my traditional author career, celebrating on the day I became a mom. I couldn't be happier. It's getting some last minute changes like a new cover,

but it's already up for Pre-Order at a discounted price and it will also be my first book on Kindle Unlimited.
